I recently visited the bay area and got a new book,"Deathtopia". This book gives some inspirations for my new paintings. They are basically photos of abandoned factories and old buildings in Japan. In the book, there are ghostly factories, torn down houses, even an abandoned kindergarten... they were supposedly built for hope and future, but now are left behind without a man to set foot in it. However, they were gently documented, as if they were built and torn down just for the purpose of this picture, very beautiful works.
I just finished these two paintings for Metro Design Studio, after the final approval by their chief director, this will be on metro billboard and bus advertisement. Such campaign will take them months till release. I was really excited to have this opportunity to work with Metro Design Studio, thanks again for the support by Ronny Poon and director Christian Rocha.
